Education: Completion of high schoolCredentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Security Guard basic (pre-assignment ) training program certificate, Security Guard Licence, CPR Certificate, First Aid CertificateExperience: 1 year to less than 2 yearsLanguages: Speak English, Read English, Write EnglishWork Setting: Hospital medical facilityType of Assignments: Fixed post, Foot patrolSpecific Skills: Enforce regulations of establishments, Resolve conflict situations, Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures, Monitor security television, Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, Attend to persons with special needs, Respond to alarms, bomb threats and other emergencies, Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism, Write reportsSecurity and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Driver s validity licence checkWork Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walkingTransportation Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver s licenceEssential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Computer useOther Information:This site has (2) specific shifts. Monday to Friday 5:00PM - 10:30pm. - 27.5 hrs. total week. Saturday Sunday 8:30 am - 7:00pm., 12:30pm. - 6:00pm respectively - 16.0 hrs. total weekend. |
